Volatility Could Still Come Roaring Back
Stocks yesterday behaved pretty much exactly as we expected, and today’s pre-market suggested more of the same bullish behavior. We’ve seen positive earnings reports followed by buying. So what’s the catch, then? Volatility… It’s come down slightly, but not enough for an all-clear. Let me walk you through it…

Don’t Forget This Free Trade on the Regionals
The financials are in play up and down the market right now. Brandon Chapman dropped a spread in the Live Trading Room the other day on some smaller players - regionals, or neighborhood banks. Here’s what he said “Buy +1 vertical KRE 100 (Weeklys) May 31, 2024 $47/$45 put at $0.75 limit.” Brandon’s been doing great lately - seven winners out of eight closed trades.
Brandon Chapman (Better Than) Doubled Up
A trade that doubles your money. That’s what it’s all about! And that’s what Brandon delivered for the folks in his Live Trading Room. His idea that the financials (as tracked by the XLF etf) would go into play led to a vertical XLF put spread. People following along bagged 103% in less than 10 days. His IYR vertical put spread paid off to the tune of 85% after just seven days. The guy’s on fire lately.
We’ll talk again soon.
