We're 4% off all-time highs and people are panicking
A 10% correction is normal. We're not even halfway there. But VIX says something else is coming.

People are freaking out.
The S&P is down 4% from all-time highs and everyone's acting like the sky is falling.
Let me put that in perspective: a normal market correction is 10%. We're not even halfway there.
But here's the problem.
VIX closed Friday at 28. That's up 17% on the day. And anything north of 28 historically doesn't pull back — it goes parabolic into the 35-40 range.
We're sitting right on that threshold.
Oil's through $90. Volatility futures are in backwardation — which means the market is pricing extreme near-term risk. The expected move jumped 60% in two days.
And now Trump's threatening to escalate with Iran. Tehran's under bombardment. Israeli commandos raided Lebanon overnight. Six US troops killed in the conflict are being brought home today.
This is not calming down.
Here's what I said Friday: you haven't seen selling yet.
We're 4% off the highs. VIX is already in Never Neverland. If that gap closes — if we actually get the selloff the vol market is pricing in — small accounts are going to get obliterated.
Not because they can't handle a 10% correction.
Because they'll panic. They'll overtrade. They'll revenge trade their losses. They'll hold positions they shouldn't. And they'll blow up.
I've seen it a thousand times.
The traders who survive this are the ones who trade with a system.
That's why we built the 3 Trade Micro-Challenge.
It's designed for small accounts in volatile markets. You get 3 high-probability setups per week. Entry, exit, and risk management spelled out. No overtrading. No chasing.
At the end of the week, we break down what happened in a live session. You see what worked, what didn't, and why.
This is how you build skill when the market gets hostile.
We're running this through Sunday.
Name your own price for the first month.
After that, $79/month. Cancel anytime.
I'm not sure when we'll do this again.
If you've got a small account and you want to survive what's coming — and maybe even profit from it — this is the play.
To your success,
Don Kaufman
