You've Got to Be Careful on Days Like Today

The S&P 500 was way up in pre-market trading as geopolitical risk eased up a bit\; the market thinks, for the time being, the bombs are done dropping in the Middle East. But don’t mistake this for stability; volumes in stocks and bonds both suggest no one feels really comfortable right now. Combine that with some inflationary numbers hitting the street today… and we’ve got a busy day on our hands. Let’s take a look…

I Just Dropped a New In/Out Trade
The NASDAQ is down close to 3% over the past five days, and you’d have to be a sucker to fight that tape. So I devised a bearish trade on everyone’s favorite NASDAQ-tracking ETF, the QQQ. The cost is less than a hundred bucks but the payoff, if the tech-centric index moves lower, could be way bigger. I don’t expect to be in this trade for more than a few days, either. You can learn exactly how I do these trades right here - they’re perfect for traders with small accounts.
